Toss Zimbabwe opt to bowl vs India
“Considering our pitches, I believe they will continue to improve,” Raza mentioned at the toss. “The motivation is high, the confidence is there, and the skillset is present. We aim to end the series on a positive note.”
“Our spinners have been really effective. The fast bowlers have also been economical in the powerplay,” Gill explained. “It’s been great to see how determined the players have been. It’s not easy playing back-to-back games, but the players have shown great hunger, especially after the initial loss.”
India is aiming for a 4-1 series victory. Zimbabwe will be looking to secure a second win to end the series, following their triumph in the first match of the tour.
This match also presents a final opportunity for players to impress ahead of India’s upcoming T20I series in Sri Lanka starting on July 27. The squad for that three-game series, as well as the subsequent three ODIs, has not yet been revealed.
