“We didn’t bat well,” Rohit remarked during the post-match interview. “At the halfway mark, we were in a decent position at 80 for 3. We needed partnerships, but unfortunately, we couldn’t build enough of them.”
“I think we fell short by about 15-20 runs. We emphasized the importance of every run on a tricky pitch like this. Our target was 140, but our bowlers stepped up and delivered,” he added.
Reflecting on his bowling strategy, Bumrah shared, “I had to adapt to the changing conditions as the pitch improved. I focused on maintaining discipline and executing my plans effectively.”
