Toss India elected to bat first against Sri Lanka
Harmanpreet Kaur’s decision was based on the pitch condition, as the same pitch used for the semi-finals was being used for the final match. The defending champions stuck with the same lineup that defeated Bangladesh in the semi-final, with Uma Chetry retaining her place at No.3.
Both India and Sri Lanka have remained undefeated in the tournament so far. India has a strong record in the T20 Asia Cup and ODI editions, while Sri Lanka is yet to win a title in either format.
