Following their victory at the T20 World Cup 2024, Team India found themselves stranded in Barbados due to a looming hurricane threat. Despite their triumph over South Africa in the final, the team’s departure was postponed as the airport was closed and all flights were canceled. Reports suggest that a charter flight will now bring them back to India on Thursday morning.
Prior to their return, Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, shared distressing images of the hurricane’s impact on Barbados’ marine life.
On her Instagram story, Ritika shared pictures of a deceased fish and a turtle egg, illustrating the devastation caused by the hurricane.
