Reflecting on India’s performance, Dravid acknowledged the current generation’s ability to uphold the legacy of older stars, attributing their success in all formats and various tournaments to their skill level and approach to the game.
The awards ceremony also recognized outstanding performances by cricketers like Phil Salt, Tim Southee, Shreyas Iyer, Sai Kishore, Virat Kohli, Mohammad Shami, Harmanpreet Kaur, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ravichandran Ashwin, Deepti Sharma, Smriti Mandhana, and Shafali Verma.
