The video captures Rauf with his wife engaging in a conversation with a group of people. Shortly after, Rauf can be seen hastily approaching the group, despite one man trying to stop him. There is pushing, shoving, and raised voices before Rauf is led back to his wife. The confrontation continues until the end of the video.
In a social media post, Rauf mentioned, “As public figures, we are open to receiving various feedback from the public, whether supportive or critical. However, when it involves my family, I will not hesitate to take appropriate action. It is essential to show respect towards individuals and their families, regardless of their occupations.”
The video was reportedly filmed in the USA, where Pakistan played their final group-stage match against Ireland during the T20 World Cup, which they won but didn’t advance to the Super Eight stage.
As of now, there has been no statement from the PCB regarding this incident.
