Former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni celebrated his 14th wedding anniversary with wife Sakshi Dhoni on Thursday. The iconic cricketer marked the occasion by cutting a cake with his wife, and a video of the celebration went viral on social media. The video captured them cutting the cake and feeding each other at their home in Ranchi. Sakshi also shared a collage of pictures of herself and Dhoni on Instagram with the caption, “Starting our 15th year.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted the T20 World Cup-winning Indian cricket team for breakfast on Thursday. He mentioned having “memorable” conversations about the team’s experiences during the tournament co-hosted by the USA and the West Indies.
The team, led by Rohit Sharma, arrived in Delhi after winning the title by defeating South Africa in the final. They had faced a delay in Barbados due to a hurricane before reaching Delhi.
“Had an excellent meeting with our Champions! Hosted the World Cup-winning team at 7, LKM and had a memorable conversation about their tournament experiences,” Modi shared on ‘X’ along with pictures with the team.
The PM, accompanied by Rohit and outgoing head coach Rahul Dravid, posed for a group picture.
Several players later shared photos with the PM. Jasprit Bumrah posted a picture with his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, and their 10-month-old son, Angad, while interacting with Modi.
Kuldeep Yadav also shared emotional images of his interaction with Modi.
Pacer Arshdeep Singh and his parents were all smiles while posing with Modi.

The team landed in Delhi amid excitement before heading to the Prime Minister’s residence for breakfast, where they spent quality time.
The PMO shared a video showing the players engaged in a chat with Modi while wearing custom jerseys with ‘CHAMPIONS’ printed on them.
BCCI officials also presented the Prime Minister with a custom Team India jersey with ‘NAMO’ and ‘1’ inscribed on it.
